Regular Giving
At John Ball, our mission is “Achievement, ambition and progress for all”. The Friends’ role is vital, as we supplement additional in-school experiences, trips, one-off projects, play equipment and pastoral care to enrich all our children’s learning and school experience. A regular donation will make a huge difference to ensure our school is as enriching, safe and fun as possible.
If you would like to help us in this way there are two main ways to do so:
- You can donate via our JustGiving fundraising page, which is so simple to use, and where you can also gift aid your donation – increasing it by 25% at no extra cost to you.
- Or, if your employer offers a payroll giving scheme your donation is even more cost effective as it comes out of your pre-tax pay, some employers even match donations. We can supply you with a letter to give to your employer, just email us at john.ball.giving@gmail.com
Anyone who signs up to give a monthly gift to John Ball will receive quarterly updates on how these funds have been spent to benefit the school.

Match Funding
Did you know that lots of large companies support their employees charitable giving by matching their donations? This can apply to events where you have given your time to raise funds for a charity. John Ball Friends is a registered charity which makes it a suitable recipient to many company Matched funding schemes.
Is anyone in your household employed by a company that offer matched funding? Most banks, supermarkets and high street stores offer it to employees. We could raise so much funding with no cost to yourself or employer as it is tax deducible and make a big difference to your child’s school.

Amazon Smile
AmazonSmile is a way customers can support their favourite charitable organization every time they shop with Amazon, at no additional cost.
Customers who shop at smile.amazon.com will find the same Amazon they know and love, with the added bonus that AmazonSmile will donate a portion of the eligible purchase price to Friends of John Ball.
The Friends of John Ball are registered with easyfundraising, it’s a great site where you can help us raise funds simply by doing your everyday online shopping.
It’s a really easy way to raise money for us – you just use the easyfundraising site to shop online with more than 3,300 well known online stores like Amazon, Argos, John Lewis, ASOS, Booking.com, eBay, Boden, and M&S and when you make a purchase, the retailer sends us a free donation, at no extra cost to you. Since joining easyfundraising, we’ve raised over £4,000 for The Friends.
