Come to our AGM on 13 November at 7.30pm.

This meeting is open to all parents and includes discussion on how the Charity’s funds are allocated, with Mrs Noakes the Headteacher.

The Friends of John Ball is a registered charity (1017014) which raises funds for educational and enrichment activities at the school. This activity is increasingly important given year-on-year funding cuts which are estimated to amount to over £950 per pupil since 2010.

Over the last financial year, the Friends of John Ball raised an amazing £33,086 from fundraising and events including: the Summer and Christmas Fairs, Heath for Health and the sponsored bike ride. In the last financial year these funds were spent on vitally important resources for the school including:

• Fit out of intervention rooms, providing a quiet, calm space for children who sometimes find classrooms overwhelming.
• Contributing £10 for every child for school trips, ensuring that a wide range of curriculum enrichment activities can take place.
• Re-fitting and re-stocking of our school library and funding for children’s school workbooks.
